Crisbee® Seasoning Puck for Arteflame Cooktops and Inserts
-
Description
Protect and maintain your Arteflame cooking surface with the Crisbee Seasoning Puck. Formulated for carbon steel and cast iron, it creates a durable, naturally low-stick patina that helps resist moisture, prevents rust, and simplifies cleanup.
The solid puck makes it easy to apply an exceptionally thin and even coating without the mess of liquid seasoning oils. Use it to season a new cooktop or apply a light protective layer after cooking. One puck provides numerous applications when used sparingly.

How to Use
- Scrape the cooking surface clean and warm it gradually.
- Using heat-resistant gloves, tongs, and a lint-free cloth or folded paper towel, apply a very small amount of Crisbee.
- Wipe immediately to create an ultra-thin, nearly dry coating.
- Heat the surface until it begins to smoke lightly.
- Repeat two or three times when seasoning a new surface.
- After subsequent cooking sessions, scrape the warm surface clean and apply a very thin protective layer.
Visible pooling or a sticky surface generally indicates that too much product was applied.
Care and Safety
Use only in a well-ventilated outdoor area. Wear heat-resistant gloves when working near a warm or hot cooktop. Store the puck in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.
